Replacement mounting bracket

An existing flanged part recreated in CAD and as a white printed prototype, with its central opening and mounting points preserved in the model.

From an existing part to a printed prototype

This project connects a physical reference part, its CAD reconstruction and a printed prototype. The paired photograph makes the relationship between the original and the new part easy to see.

Start with the physical part

The reference part has a large central opening, two holes in its flange and a raised mounting ear. These features define the geometry to reproduce.

Rebuild the geometry

AllPrototype reconstructed the part in CAD, including the outer profile, openings and mounting features, then produced a printed prototype.

Compare the two parts

The white prototype can be viewed beside the original, showing the recreated form and its mounting arrangement.
