Floor plans made tangible

A floor-plan model gives a layout depth. These two architectural models bring the walls, doorways and window openings into physical form, with an open top that keeps the interior visible. White and grey versions offer two presentations of the layouts.

Keep the layout readable

The shapes of the outer walls, the setbacks and the internal partitions define each model. Rectangular openings break up the walls and indicate doors and windows. Leaving the top open lets someone follow those relationships without a roof obscuring the rooms below.

Carry the details into the print

The printed models retain the wall arrangements and opening positions in both colours. The grey versions make the layered surfaces particularly visible, while the white versions present the same architectural features in a lighter finish. These are physical prints with their real surface detail.

A model you can examine

The result is a pair of compact architectural forms that can be viewed from above or at wall level. They give discussions about a layout a shared physical reference, bringing the footprint, wall heights and openings together in one object.
