A custom printed mount brings the supports, central duct and two fans together in one extruder assembly.
CAD, printed parts and a complete mounting assembly
This project follows a custom mounting design from its CAD model to the white printed frame and the assembled hardware. The three views show how the mounting points and component layout carry through the build.
Bring the components together
The assembly needs defined positions for its mounting feet, upright supports, central duct and fans.
Develop and print the mount
AllPrototype developed the mounting geometry in CAD and produced the white printed parts, with metal inserts incorporated at the fastening points.
Assemble the hardware
The finished mounting assembly is shown with two fans installed. The bare-frame photograph keeps its construction and fastening details visible.
