Patterned wall luminaire

A curved wall-light shade developed through CAD, mould preparation and assembly, with its geometric motif visible on the assembled prototype.

From a patterned shade to an assembled wall light

The project brings a curved shade, a geometric surface motif and a vertical support into one wall-light assembly. Original workshop photographs document the transition from the patterned master to the assembled prototype.

Connect the form and assembly

The curved shade and its motif need to work with the vertical support and the space for the light source.

Develop the shade and tooling

AllPrototype developed the CAD geometry and prepared the patterned master for moulding. The workshop photo shows the master positioned in its clamped mould box.

Bring the light together

The assembled prototype shows the curved shade on its vertical support, with its geometric motif and surface details visible.
